Operation Christmas Child

Throughout the year we stock toys, clothes, and hygiene products that we pack into shoeboxes for needy children around the world through SAMARITAN'S PURSE / OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD.

Honduras

We have partnered with four ministries in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. We take work teams there annually as well as support these ministries financially. To get involved in a short term mission project send us an email and we will get you all the information you need. The three ministries we support are listed below.

1. Church planting and Seminary - We are currently training 25 new pastors through a seminary in the countryside of Honduras. Our pastor goes 2 times a year to teach and encourage these ministers.  We also have adopted the area of Mata De Platano and Singuizapa where we are providing oversight and developing 2 churches, and providing financially for a pastor.  

2. Nueva Esperanza - "New Hope" is a daycare committed to the poor of Honduras. They provide nutrition, medical care, education, and spiritual education to more than 100 children annually. The ministry provides this for the children while supporting the parents in getting a job and providing for their own family. It is truly a great way to change a city through a generation of children.

3. Universidad Iglesia Buatista - "University Baptist Church" is lead by Carlos Messam. This church has a heart to reach their city and beyond. They are involved in church planting and supporting churches around Honduras. They are a thriving body of believers having a huge impact. They are different, really different - Honduras style!
