TCAR Wonder Way Nursery and Toddlers

(ages 6 weeks to 2 years old)

Babies and Toddlers are in a constant state of wonder as they begin to experience and learn about God's love through people in their lives and the world in which they live. WonderWay is soft and warm environment that is consistently staffed with caring adult volunteers who communicate and display God's love to each child.

It is exciting to watch our tiniest ones learn! We use The Gospel Project curriculum with our babies and toddlers. Age-appropriate learning experiences are planned and reinforced with songs, play, story cards and activity baskets designed around the Bible Story.

Snacks and Feedings: Feedings are limited to bottles only for the Nursery . We provide Gerber Puffs for our older children in the nursery. We ask that you provide a juice cup for your baby if they are allowed to have juice.  We provide a snack of goldfish crackers and white grape juice for our toddlers.  Please inform volunteers of any allergies your child may have when filling out your registration form.

What to Bring:  When packing a diaper bag for your child, please include the following items:

2-3 disposable diapers

Wipes

Pacifier or other item your child may need for security

A complete change of clothes in case of an accident

A bottle of milk, formula, juice or water

TCAR Treehouse Preschool

(ages 3 years - Kindergarten) 

It is exciting to watch our preschoolers learn! Fun adventures are around every corner for preschoolers who play and learn in TCAR Treehouse. Each week, the Bible lessons are full of hands-on activities to utilize each child's learning style and to make learning fun. There are objects for children to touch, wiggly activities to get them moving, and fun crafts that enhance the lesson even more. These age appropriate learning experiences are planned and reinforced with songs, stories, and play activities. Your child will leave class filled with wonder about exciting Bible Stories, songs, and conversation about God. 

Snacks: Your child will make a snack that is themed to the lesson. Please inform volunteers of any allergies your child may have when filling out your registration form. 

The ImagiNation classroom

(6-9 year olds)

The ImagiNation class is designed to capture the creativity of younger elementary age kids and allows them to learn about God in an interactive way. They will experience age-appropriate activity stations, small group lessons, worship and creative Bible teaching to help them understand more about who God is and that He has a plan for them. We want them to jump into God's word and take the next step in their faith journey. They will be encouraged to take the step in living our their faith at home, school, and wherever life takes them.  

The Edge classroom

(10-11 year olds)

The Edge classroom is an edgy environment where kids will dig deeper into God's word and be challenged to live out their faith, impacting their family, friends, and community. Students in this age group are not only on “the edge” because of their age at TCAR (being too old for the kid’s classroom and not quite old enough for the student ministry) but they are also on the edge of making important faith decisions about their lives. “The Edge”….will offer our children a deeper insight to God’s Word and His plan for their lives as they gain a new perspective on how God’s Word and the Church apply to them and their world. Not only will this be a great transition as they prepare to move into TCAR’s student ministry but will also give them an age appropriate environment for them to deepen their faith on their level.
